Are you aware of the dangers lurking in many of our cupboards as well as in the personal care and cleaning products available on the market?

It’s important to recognize that clever marketing claims do not always indicate the purity of a product.

Here are just some of the many „culprits” to be mindful of:

𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐦 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐲𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐟𝐚𝐭𝐞 (𝐒𝐋𝐒) are commonly used in personal care products. Parabens may be endocrine disruptors, while SLS can cause skin irritation.

𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 in products like perfumes and lotions may contain phthalates, linked to potential health risks. These chemicals can disrupt the endocrine system. Additionally, synthetic fragrances can trigger allergies and respiratory issues in sensitive individuals.

𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 like parabens in cosmetics have raised concerns due to their potential endocrine-disrupting properties. Some studies suggest a link to hormonal imbalances. Additionally, these preservatives may cause skin irritation for certain individuals.

𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐮𝐦-𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, like mineral oil and petrolatum, are commonly used in cosmetics as emollients and can create a barrier on the skin, hindering its natural functions.

It's advisable to choose products without the „nasties” and opt for alternative, natural preservatives and natural or fragrance-free options if you're concerned about potential health dangers, impurities or environmental impact.

Advocating for "clean" products and crafting our exclusive VWO toxic-free product line with premium natural and pure ingredients reflects our commitment to addressing worries about potential harmful substances. Clearly listing all ingredients on our packaging enhances consumer confidence, aligning with the increasing demand for clean and eco-friendly beauty products. Natural Body Scrub
Easy DIY Body Scrub

Welcome to a world where self-care meets simplicity and nature’s bounty reigns supreme. We invite you to embark on a journey of indulgence and rejuvenation as we explore the art of crafting your very own natural body scrub!

𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐝:

• 1 cup of Epsom salt

1/4 cup of coconut oil (runny consistency, melted)

10-15 drops of lavender essential oil

1 tablespoon of dried lavender buds

𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:

Begin by mixing together the Epsom salt and dried lavender buds in a mixing bowl. Lavender is renowned for its calming and soothing qualities, making it a perfect addition to a soothing body scrub.

In another container, melt the coconut oil if it's solid.

You can achieve this by submerging the container in a bowl of warm water.

Once the coconut oil is melted, (being summer here in Oz, our coconut oil tends to be usually a runny consistency) allow it to cool slightly but still remain in a liquid state.

Pour 10-15 drops of lavender essential oil into the melted coconut oil. Lavender essential oil not only enriches the aromatic ambiance but also adds to the calming and aromatic sensation.

Pour the coconut oil mixture over Epsom salt and lavender flower buds. Stir thoroughly to ensure an even distribution.

Transfer your body scrub to a clean, airtight container.

Make sure it's stored out of direct sunlight, in a cool & dry place.
